English

FlowPlayer is a personal audio and video player. This policy explains how the app handles media you choose, related information, and information you voluntarily provide when contacting us.

1. Information on your device

Your media index, file bookmarks, playback progress, recent history, favorites, queue, playlists and settings are stored on your device. Files you explicitly copy or transfer through Finder are stored in the app's file directory. The app has no account system, CloudKit synchronization or developer-operated media server. Local data and user files may be included in device backups or system migration; we do not promise that all data is excluded from backup.

2. Files and network sources you choose

The app uses the system document picker to access files you authorize and stores file bookmarks to restore access. External files opened directly usually remain in their original location. iCloud or other file providers may download or synchronize selected files under their own service rules. Adding a network media address validates the address; a successful addition starts playback and requests media. During address validation, playback or cache continuation, your chosen server may receive your IP address, requested address, time and necessary request information. Validation may already have made network requests even if adding the address fails and playback never starts. We do not control those sources' logs or privacy practices.

3. Playback cache and explicitly saved videos

Network playback uses a private app cache and may continue valid partial caches during later playback. The private media cache is excluded from device backup. Eligible network videos you explicitly save become independent regular files in Saved Videos in the app's file directory and may participate in system backup or Finder file sharing. Deleting a network media record clears its private cache and ongoing save work, but does not delete an independent video already saved.

4. System playback features

To provide lock-screen controls, background music and system media controls, the app supplies necessary current-media information, such as title, artist and progress, to the system. File providers, AirPlay, Picture in Picture and other system services operate in response to your actions and system rules.

5. Advertising, tracking and diagnostics

The app includes no advertising, analytics or tracking SDK, performs no cross-app behavioral tracking and has no automatic diagnostics-upload feature. Local diagnostics use fixed categories and session identifiers rather than user media names or complete source addresses in routine logs. System services may process diagnostics according to their own settings.

6. Voluntary support contact

Email and Telegram entries hand off to the system or an external app only after you tap them. FlowPlayer does not send messages automatically or prefill your media files or attachments. You choose whether and what to send. We use information you voluntarily provide to answer support requests; we do not save or forward those messages or use them for marketing. Email and Telegram services process and retain messages under their own rules; our commitment does not mean those services do not retain messages.

7. Managing and deleting information

You can clear recent playback history, remove media records or delete files within the app. Clearing history does not delete media files. Deleting a file removes its actual contents, as indicated by the interface. Deleting the app removes its on-device container data; external originals and system backups must be managed separately. There is no app account to close or developer-server media library to delete.

8. Contact and policy updates

For privacy questions, contact biyuhuaping@gmail.com or Telegram @biyuhuaping. We update this page and its date when the policy changes. The service hosting this policy may process page requests under its own rules. Opening this page does not automatically attach your in-app media or playback history to the request.
